In storyboard view, click the area after the last slide to add a slide to the end of the deck.

In storyboard view, hover in between two slides to reveal a button that inserts a slide between those two slides.

In slide view, the New Slide button in the bottom right of the toolbar which adds a slide after the slide you are currently viewing.
