It's possible to save a deck as a PDF manually through your browser (currently Chrome is the only browser that this works with). This often resolves any issues with exporting decks that may occur.
Here’s what you need to do:
From your Deck Overview, paste the deck's link in your browser and replace everything from and including ?view= with /print?width=1121&height=793
For example: https://pasteapp.com/p/PfEB4zFRuao/print?width=1121&height=793
(Note: This does not work if you're pasting the URL from within a slide)Hit Enter
Select Chrome's native Print function (ctrl/cmd + p or choose Print from the File menu)
Change Destination to Save as PDF
Set Layout to Landscape
Set Paper size to Letter
Set Margins to None
Check Background graphics and uncheck Header and Footer
Click Save
Screenshotting your slides
If, for any reason, the above option doesn't work for you or you encounter any issues, there's an alternative approach you can consider. You can screenshot the slides of your deck individually. While this might be a bit more time-consuming, it's a reliable method to ensure you have a visual copy of each slide.
For Mac users:
Navigate to the slide you want to capture.
Press
Command
+Shift
+4
.Drag to select the area of the slide you wish to capture.
Release the mouse or trackpad button to take the screenshot. It will be saved to your desktop by default.
For Windows users:
Navigate to the slide you want to capture.
Press
PrtScn
to capture the entire screen, orAlt
+PrtScn
to capture only the active window.Open a program like Paint or Word, then paste (
Ctrl
+V
) the screenshot.Save the file to your desired location.
Please repeat the steps for each slide in your deck.
